500 Words EP - B is Bridgie

Call It A Day

There are worlds colliding and hearts dividing

Under skies that were once inviting

Every moment is a precious moment

I wont get things out of shape not yet

I wont stumble over every wire in the way

I'm not ready to call it a day

There's so much more I want to say

I won't let this fire die out so fast

I don't plan to get off this track

I can't take long to get right back

Now the colors fading

How long was I waiting

To in change in plans I've been making

The sun is shining keep up all the lighting

Striking up a match to clear a path

I wont stumble over every wire in the way

I'm not ready to call it a day

There's so much more I want to say

I won't let this fire die out so fast

I don't plan to get off this track

I can't take long to get right back

500 words through the telegraph line

Each sentence spells out warning signs

Matching up puzzles with telescope eyes

It's stumbling to try but I will get by

I wont stumble over every wire in the way

I'm not ready to call it a day

There's so much more I want to say

I won't let this fire die out so fast

I don't plan to get off this track

I can't take long to get right back

Spoons and Forks

On muddy grounds I stand

I gave a helping hand but no one sees them wave

An empty box is all they gave

What is left is scribbles and chalk

There's not much room left to walk

I kept the gates unlocked for anyone who wanted to talk

On the great wide open waters

Of the Atlantic and Pacific shores

You stand cold with a hallow heart

You keep wounding me with knives so sharp

You can't even comprehend all the spoons and forks you bend

Over shallow rivers you swim

The sparks you flew will start to dim

The heavy winds are low

The hour hand seems really slow

There's so much I want you to know

But you are always on the go

I spoke the truth to you

But nothing ever gets to you

Each moment these walls get higher

I step away from the fires

On the great wide open waters

Of the Atlantic and Pacific shores

You stand cold with a hallow heart

You keep wounding me with knives so sharp

You can't even comprehend all the spoons and forks you bend

Over shallow rivers you swim

The sparks you flew will start to dim

Never fall apart

Mend don't split too far

Just put back the missing jar

This moment can be ours

On the great wide open waters

Of the Atlantic and Pacific shores

You stand cold with a hallow heart

You keep wounding me with knives so sharp

You can't even comprehend all the spoons and forks you bend

Over shallow rivers you swim

The sparks you flew will start to dim

Breather

I thought you heard the words I said before

Sometimes you makes me fall onto the floor

How much attention do you have with me

Do you have someone else better to see?

I'm no repeater

I'm just a breather

My patience has fallen short

Listen up when I'm a speaker

How much do you ignore?

Don't blame when I think you act like a child

You wonder why I'm throwing things you piled

There's a dozen ways you always get to me

When you mind is always headed out to sea

I'm no repeater

I'm just a breather

My patience has fallen short

Listen up when I'm a speaker

How much do you ignore?

The Other Night

The bottles are empty

From last nights disaster

It seems like a dark cloud is over your foot steps

Don't you want to travel to somewhere that opens your senses beyond your dark fences

Here's your complimentary broken heart

that you tried to fix last night

Stop ignoring the helping hands

that try to hold you up

Soon the sun will rise and give a chance to dance another day

So try to keep up with

Your efforts of building

For better, for worse

The story will move on

The tools are all placed on the table for starting

The motor that's spinning

You're closer to winning

Here's your complimentary broken heart

that you tried to fix last night

Stop ignoring the helping hands

that try to hold you up

Soon the sun will rise and give a chance to dance another day

Soon you'll be on your way

No more colors of grey

ooh

Here's your complimentary broken heart

that you tried to fix last night

Stop ignoring the helping hands

that try to hold you up

Soon the sun will rise and give a chance to dance another day

Intersections

This garden is always quiet

Far from any riot

I'm watching all the plants grow

This is the kind of world I only want to know

Way across town the city sounds

The engines combust

Soon they will rust

This intersection has reflections

They are jumping out, they are jumping out

In all directions

These streets are old but I don't mind it

They connect to one stem

When I go beyond the limit

I start to think

I start to think about them

Way across town the city sounds

The engines combust

Soon they will rust

This intersection has reflections

They are jumping out, they are jumping out

In all directions
